Tap@brewery. Hazy muddy brown beer with medium head. Aroma and flavor has malts and bread. Some chocolate too. Decent brew.

Draught at the brewpub - Dark brown with orange tinges. Caramel, rye and some raisins in the aroma. Rye, dried fruit, caramel and some slightly metallic and smoky notes in the aroma.

On tap at the Brewpub. Reddish/brown with a medium head. Quite sweet with caramel, malt and some notes of fruit. A bit on the thin side.

On tap at Koulu, Turku. Chestnut coloured with a modest off-white head. Sweet and malty with notes of caramel, dried fruits and hints of toasted malt. Sweet, but not too bad, fairly drinkable.

On tap at Koulu, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, with a touch of caramel. Flavour is quite cloudy, with toasted caramel, earthy bread notes, and toasted nuts. A little burnt, but it works. Solid stuff.

Tap at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Originally rated 01062012. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, sweetness, some chocolate and roasted malts.

Aroma is sourish with roastiness, hay and hints of berries. Flavour has chocolate, roasted notes, cocoa, berries, lactic acid, hay and a slight contaminated feeling typical to Koulu beers. Nutty finish. A dunkel with sour twist.

A dark brown beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is dark malty and bready, syrup and ryebread. Taste is dark malty, syrup, ryebread. Medium bodied, quite smooth to drink. Dark bready beer, quite nice but slightly too simple.
