Yesterday @ the Omnipollo’s Gothenburg soft opening. Actually somehow balanced.

(On tap @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, Dec 15/17) Pours black with a lasting brown head. Aroma of dark malts with average to above average roast, some molasses, dark chocolate, vanilla, toasted nuts, dark fruit, sweet and a bare touch tangy, drying wood. Flavour leads pretty sweet with dark toffee, molasses, dark chocolate, sweet and lightly tart blueberry juice, heavy vanilla, toasted nuts, moderately roasted. Finishing drier with woody accents, vanilla, toasted grain, pecans, blueberry flesh, fruit skins, a bit tannic, moderate to high bitterness. Quite full and viscous body, soft carbonation, touch of alcohol burn. Very nice overall, but I felt like the Noa and blueberry aspects weren't quite in perfect sync on the finish.

16.12.2017, tap @ Himmeriget:
Nice dark brown creamy longlasting head, thick black pour. Aroma is sweet mineraly, dark sugar, lactose, dark malts, maple syrup, minerals, burnt pecan, alcohol, oak, vanilla, almonds, burnt toast, dark berries, dusty cinnamon. Taste is dry boozy, oak, weeds, minerals, booze, dark malts, lactose, maple syrup, burnt pecans, bark, vanilla, dark berries, sour coffee, dark sugar, harsh vanilla, dusty cinnamon. Medium to longlasting bitterness, syrupy and slightly dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice, but some aging would be better...

Pitch black color. Big sweet, nose of molasses, dark chocolate, blueberry cheesecake and vanilla. The mouth is very heavy and sweet, with tons of blueberries, dark chocolate. Very full bodied - definetely a sipper. Rich finish. This beer is totally over the top in its richness, but has balance and complexity that make it worthy of its reputation.
