On tap at DDC. A clear reddish amber brown pour with a light beige filmy head. A soft fudgey caramel aroma. The taste is earthy is bitter tannic caramel malts, a little tangy and sweet.

20oz pour is a hazy dark orange with some thin lacing white head. Nose is malty, herbal, lemon, crackers. Flavor Is nice, lemon, light soap, malty, sweet. Light body, dry finish.

Tastes like something I can’t place. A little bitterness. Good pour. Red tinge to it. A little bit of cream in here, nothing much else. On cask at DDC.

Draught, 4.8% at the brewpub. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Small creamy white head. Mild bready flavour. Low bitterness. Good nutty finish.

A golden amber ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, murku mashed pea malt, with butterscotch and light hops. In mouth, a nice grainy malt with mashed grain, rye notes, a bit off. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 16 2010.
