Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Brown to black, ruby hue, creamy tanned head. Nose is mocha, chocolate, cacao, coffee, sugar, hazelnut, smell is sweeter than taste. Taste is herbal, hugely roasted malts, most of the bitterness comes from roasted malts, bark, cacao, bitter herbal. Potent, definitely like it more than other, more reliant on malt than most modern BIPA’s. Body is herbal, huge roast.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest 2017. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head . Aroma. Is milky choc, pine hop,. Flavour is semi sweet, milky chocolate, pine. Palate is rounded and milky, moderate carbonation. Nice pine and citrus hop. In the finish.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours black-brown with a frothy, tan head. Ashy roast aroma, with nips of burnt pine and cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with some vanilla, more bitter dark chocolate, strong roast. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with burnt vanilla pods, baking cocoa, more ashy roast. Good CDA.

0,5l bottle at home. BB 02/04/2016. dark brown color, small coffee-colored head. smells licorice, resin, coffee, light exotic fruits, earthy notes, bit lactic, quite creamy smell. nice smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather citric, resin, licorice, bit acidic, coffee, earthy notes, light ash, bit bitter herbal. finishes rather dry, a bit roasted and lightly bitter with citric notes and some licorice. quite good one, Carbonation was almost a bit too light for me, rest is quite nice though, quite citric and quite dry, but really enjoyable.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma, spicy grassy hoppy overtones, hints of green onion, a touch of coffee. Taste is dark malty, slightly roasty, chocolately, a touch of coffee, dry grassy hoppy overtones, a minimally papery touch, subtle malt sweetness. Minimally watery, "bodyless" finish.

Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta, spora piana, beżowa, ładnie się trzyma. W aromacie kawa, ciemne słody, paloność, trochę cytrusów, ale nie za wiele. W smaku dość wytrawne, palone, nie za wiele akcentów cytrusowych, żywicznych, poza tym ciemna kawa, lekka popiołowość i zbożowa gładkość. Goryczka dosyć niska, treściwość średnia, wysycenie średnie do niskiego, odpowiednie. Jak mawiał klasyk: "za mało ipy w ipie" - poziom goryczki i bardziej uwydatniona rola akcentów słodowych bardziej pasują do stouta, niż Black IPA. Nie jest to złe piwo, gdyby podkręcić goryczkę, byłoby naprawdę dobre, gdyż poza tym żadnych wad ani niedociągnięć nie ma.

Satanic black beer with hell of a beige head. ;) Small amount of american hops in aroma. On the other hand, lots of coffee, roastiness, bread and chocolate. High bitterness, high sweetness. Full body, smooth in mouth. This is not black IPA. This is stout. Very good stout. : I’m gonna lower the overall rating from 16 to 13 since it’s completely not in style written on the label.
