Bottle, 10.6%. Sweet, bready, roasted aroma, hint of chalk dust´and vanilla. Almost black colour. Almost no head. The flavour starts off with a very dry cardamom note or some other dry and dusty spice. Not as sweet as many other Russian Imperial Stouts, and that is quite refreshing.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, chocolate, nuts and malt, with estery touches. Roasty, nutty and coffeelike flavour with mild estery hints. Roasty, nearly sour, aftertaste with hints of nuts and chocolate. Decent, if quite bitter.

330ml bottle, 10.6 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Pitch black in the glass, covering tan-coloured head, fair lacing. Inviting aromas of smooth chocolate, lightly roasted. Confectionery chocolate to the taste buds on a backbone of molasses. Long-lived, rounded chocolate ending smoothly warming down the swallow. Well bodied. Savoury sipper. Bottle from 2018. Dzis testuje trzy piwa polskie, choc mialem to zrobic 3 maja z okazji swieta flagi i konstytucji. Ale jakos dzis na takie trzy testy znalazlem czas. trzy piwa i to trzecie najlepsze, wiencze nim i celebruje przypadajace na niemal 230 lat od jej uchwalenia, pierwszej w Europie konstytucji, jedynej prawdziwie dobrej polskiej konstytucji. I Behemotem pojechalem na ostro, mocno agresywna won wanilii niczym muzyka Behemota i Darskiego, ciemna barwa, brazowa spora piana, niestety redukuje sie szybko. W smaku slodkawe, niestety dominujacy profil marcepanowo-waniliowy troche tlumi te goryczke ktora jest, nie ukrywam, ale jakos z cienia nie moze wyjsc. Dobre, choc nie porywajace.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Hazy black with a lasting, very thin, frothy, beige head. Strong aroma of brownie dough, chocolate sauce, vanilla, biscuit, mocha, vanilla & stracciatella ice cream, coffee liqueur. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite chocolatey & creamy, almost milky, over biscuit, bittersweet mocha & subtle sourish dark fruits; some bitter toast & raw coffee with a very soft umami touch before the dry, herbal hoppy finish kicks in, toasty & creamy still, with a strong dash of coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Luscious, sweet Imperial Stout.

Black with dark head. Aroma and flavour have loads of vanilla and treacle. Roasted bitterness in the finish.
