Bottled from SP airport. Brown with some light hoppy aromas and taste. Not super "tropical" but not bad for a brazilian pale ale.

On tap @ Devassa Ipanema. Clear amber color with small creamy off-white head and lively visible carbonation. Aroma of light caramel aroma, herbal hops and mild tropical fruits. Tastes of caramel, refreshing herbal and fruity. Medium body, oily texture and lively natural carbonation. Not bad, but without any extraordinary features...

Dull amber colour with no head. Light caramel aroma. Just a hint of hop spiciness, but otherwise a relatively bland, caramelly amber ale. Pretty uneventful.

355 ml bottle as Devassa Ruiva, contain antioxidants and stabilizers. Dark yellow to light amber color, clear, nice stable white head, honest lacing. Nose is crisp with some roasted malts. Roasted malts, soft caramel with a smokey note and english style hop. Taste is sugary sweetish with some soft bitterness and a bit sour. Slick finish, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Light to medium body. Well, this seems to be an English ale overall, not so smooth, simple, either not bad for the location.

Tap at Devassa, Ipanema. It pours amber, with a thin white head. The nose is lemon soap, metal and sweet fruity malt. The taste is hay, straw, sweet malt, soap, dishwater, and metal, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The worst beer I have had from Devassa.
