Taste comprises smoked bacon, straw, lemon tang, frazzles, toasted grains, big smoke effect. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent smoked cross over.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of smoke, wheat, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, wheat, smoke, and straw, leading to a tart finish.

(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white frothy head. Distinctively smoke malty and slightly wheaty aroma with notes of smoked ham, as well as a lactic touch. Moderately sour flavour, light bodied but not watery and a crisp carbonation. Moderately acidic sour-fruity and well-balanced smokey taste with lactic notes, lingering into the sour-fruit and smoky finish. Very good 10.I.17

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 1, split with 77ships. Dorée/orange, léger trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme offre de belles effluves de fumé assez bien dominant qui vont bien avec le caractère de Berliner, notes de sour arrivent en rétro. Palais est de suite dans cet aspect citrique de Berliner mais avec un savant usage de malt fumé, et un fini un peu acerbe indiquant plus des pommes vertes. Avec le temps, le fumé reprend le dessus sans jamais devenir surfait ou trop dominant de la base Berliner.
