Bottle. Clear, yellow-golden beer with an off-white head. Quite piney and fruity nose with some heather like hints. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s some celler there as well. Medium to full body. There’s something special with this beer, can’t really place it, and not sure whether I like it. Not bad though. (070809)

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours hazy yellow with a good head. Aroma is wheaty with a note of coriander. Flavour is wheat and coriander. I guess this one was more Belgian than English, which in my view is a good thing :)

Draught at Plan B. Hazy pale brownish amber, average head. Grassy nose. Sweet and lightly orangey. Wintercoat’s regular lovely soft malt character is there, but it’s overpowered by honeyish sweetness. Soothing but cloying, this ends up being neither refreshing nor a beer to sip on.

(On tap) Pilsener golden and presumably filtered with a small, creamy head. Lovely fruity opening with some weird, underlying ashy notes, almost a bit smoked. An interesting mixture of an IPA and Belgian Witbier-yeast and a bit of wheat. Very untraditional and unusual but quite a refreshing summer quencher. 210504

Golden beer with little head. Fruit, hops and flowers in the aroma. Intense and unique flavour, strongly hopped, but with a hint of smoke or maybe oakwood. A+ for the effort!
