Aroma: Fruity sweet with herbs and licorice. Flavour: Fruity sweet with malt. Aftertaste is malty sweet with licorice. Colour: Dark reddish brown with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Voldby Købmandsgård Nov. 2019.

Bottle @ Lukassens Christmas Gathering, Herning 2016. Pours Dark Brown with a small head. Rye, sugars , fruit, caramel and alcohol. Medium bodied.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some fruits and caramel. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle @ DØE julefrokost, Århus Bryghus. Pours slightly hazy golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, spice, caramel, fruit. Flavor is malt, yeast, dusty, spice, oranges. Medium body, soft carbonation. 181213

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. B.B. 2008. Dark amber colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with licorice, caramel and roasted malts - the orange peel and other spices are gone due to age. Taste is sweet. Medium body. Finishes sweet with licorice. Not worth saving for years.

Hazy copper with a lasting off-white head. Aroma dominated by yeast and phenolics, with some spice poking through. Dry, yeasty flavour with a dusty note, and some malt.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, orange peel and anise. Flavour was nicely composed with roasted malt, caramel, liquerice and hops. Not bad.

appears a nice brown, with a small offwhite head. aroma is dark fruits, boose. flavor is sugar, dark fruits, well balanced.
