Draught. Cloudy orange pour with white head. Aroma is sweet citrusy. I would swear an oath that there are blood orange notes in the flavour and finish. Worth seeking

2014-05-06, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 8-4-8-4-16=40
14oz

Cloudy light amber color with small creamy head. The aroma is well hoppy, both fruity and resiny, and some toffee. Full bodied; the malt flavor is a bit too chewy, with caramel, toffee, quite sweet too; very strong bitterness, the resiny is mainly hoppy, piney, a bit fruity too.
Good, but just on the heavy side.

Hazy amber color, creamy head. The aroma is nice, hoppy, very fruity. Good body, smooth and round; very good toffee flavor, with a touch of biscuits and chewy crystal malt; powerful hopping, resiny and fruity.
A bit heavy to drink, but gets an extra point for the high fresh fruity component.

Draft: Subdued bread crust and peanut nose. Hazy amber, no head. Nutty peanut and peanut hull flavor. Orange marmelade base. Finish is pencil shavings and cardboard. Full body. Very little hop character, but I’m intrigued by the malt profile and degree to which it has oxidized. I don’t like it so much as a DIPA, but it’s enjoyable and a nice bit of crafting. I wonder how old this is. It drinks like it might be a DIPA where the hops have fallen out of it.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Light pine and caramel aroma. Pine and earth flavor with light grapefruit and malt. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with caramel and earthiness.
