Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear medium amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of earthy notes, caramel and tropical fruits. The taste is very tropical with notes of mango, pineapple and canned fruits. Pale malts as well. Medium-full bodied with lingering bitterness. OK... not my favorite.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours hazy yellow. Aroma of citrus, orange zest, coriander and hops. Flavour is tangerine, pine, orange zest, citrus and some hops. Quite light for a double and the higher ABV is not at all noticeable.

Tap. Pours a bright, glowing and slightly hazed golden body with a full white head. Aroma of tangerine, pine, caramel, honey and alcohol. Flavor is decently bitter with lots of malt backing as well. Citrus finish with the hops. Medium bubbles. A little thin. Didn’t think this was an IIPA (seemed like a regular one).

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy reddish amber, small creamy head. Grapefruity nose where resin already comes through. Sweet with bold straightforward mouthfeel and solid body. The bitterness strikes hard and early, and reaches punishing levels. Meanwhile there’s notes of mango and cookies. A typical American macho beer with punk attitude.

Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, dried apricots, resin, pine needles and toffee. Well balanced bitterness, fairly sweet, chewy mouthfeel. Nice one.
