A special beer designed to celebrate ten years in the business by our brewer Alessio Gatti. Despite its high alcohol content, it features an extremely pale color as it is produced solely using Pils malt in order to emphasize the complexity of the hopping, the result of a skillful combination of prestigious Australian and North American varieties.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Condensed, citrusy fruity hoppy, and slightly sugary, pale malty aroma, notes of mandarine, orange, grapefruit, all in a sirupy mode somehow. Taste is biting, bitter hoppy, citrusy fruity, sweet, minimally starchy, malty backbone, condensed, resinous notes of orange, mandarine, orange zest; lingering bitter finish.

Bottle from La Torre del Luppolo, Pisa. Pours hazy golden orange with a large frothy lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, hop, malt, floral notes, and a moderate alcohol edge. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is oily and has a tangy, fruity, alcoholic bitterness. Not bad, but at 10% this was a little OTT after a while.

On tap at Vrteška. Great to try it, poured by the guy who it’s brewed by and for. :) Poured a misty yellow-golden body. Aroma... heavily sugary, lemon rock candy. Fresh taste, sugar and lemon rock candy, ending dry. Well hidden alcohol, very well hidden actually... but as a beer, this doesn’t work that well overall, just not moreish in any way.

Thnx for sharing, eugene ! Pours rather clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit cheesy, some malts. Taste is unfresh, stale malts, faded bitterness. like an aged IPA. don’t like this ...

Draft glass @ CML Original. Lightly hazy orange, big creamy white head. Nose is mandarin, tangerine hops, old school IPA, slightly old IPA, peach, hay,... Taste is peach, apricot, old school IPA, feels like a slightly old herbal USA IPA but not in a bad way, apricot, medicinal hops, herbal,... Strange brew,... 10 % Strong Lager that tastes like a pretty good USA IPA with light age, very strange but not bad for me,.. Body is malt, oily, old school IPA, strange but pleasant brew,...

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours orangy-golden with medium head. Aroma is strange: something sweet is markedly perceived. Maybe vanilla, or marshmallows. Body is think and sticky. Taste is sweet in the very beginning, with lots of bitterness coming up and persisting! Finish is BITTER!! (still with some underlying sweetness)
