Draught @ BBF13. Pours clear amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops with mild fruity notes. Sweetish, malty aroma with notes of citrus. Sweetish and bready flavour of malt with notes of hops and grass. Bready finish. A trifle disappointing but not bad as such. Smells like an APA but tastes like an SHV.

On tap. Clear golden colour, soft carbonation, medium airy white head, rather quickly disappearing. Aroma of light grassy hops, light citrus fruits, light overripe apples, bready malt. Rather mild and watery. Taste is light to medium bitter, light sour, very light sweet. Finish rather sour, unplesant.

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, brief head. Mild butterscotch aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Salty bitterness. Fairly straightforward, but yet entertaining.

draught at Zly Casy beer festival Prague, May 2009. Hazy golden yellow, mid-sized creamy white head. Hoppy nose. Malty base with some herbal-grassy hops and a touch of boiled peas (?). Malty-fruity with a touch of veggies. Not outstanding but solid and interesting.

Draught at BBF06 as Derér Helles. Golden colour, small white head. High bitterness, not very pleasant. 4 3 4 3 11

Draught at BBF07 as Derér Avar Lager. Hazy golden colour. Nice, stable, creamy white head. Nicely citric flavour, a little fruity. Medium bitterness, slightly rough. 5 3 5 3 12

Draught at BBF13 as Derér Spezial Gehopft. Crystal malt aroma. Caramelly flavour. The same caramelly hoppiness as many American pale ales, but without the bitterness or alcohol to balance. 6 3 6 3 13
