Refreshing beer, with natural extracts of grapefruit and a hint of ginger. Good balance between the sweetness of the fruit and the bitterness of the hop.

Draft Chez Nina, Ixelles.

330 ml bottle. Grapefruit, weed, ginger, some herbs, sugar. Dry zesty sourness and bitterness with some fruity sugary sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively to fizzy carbonated, dry zesty bitter sour finish. Not bad, but needs more refinement.

Thick, dense, yellowish head, stable and leaving lacerings over pinkish tinted golden beer, finely carbonated. Very intense pink grapefruit nose, or as opening an ugli. Really fruity nose, and smelling as the real fruit. There is also a spicy hint, I was thinking of just a bit of coriander. Alas, that is initially, because after only a short warming up, the intense grapefruitnose becomes artificial, smelling as a soapy detergent. And it goes wrong in the flavour as well, with a wry, bitterish spice - obviously ginger - pushing the fruit/grapefruit to the back. Still, we get grapefruit with just a bit of grapefruitpeel backthroat and suspiciously many fruitsugars. Eventually the ginger beats retreat. Spritzy, light, long lasting flavours. Too much sugars in the end to be refreshing. Mixed feelings here.

hazy orange colour, huge, though not too stable dense yellowish ecru head; aroma of earthy, candied dried orange, grapefruity and candied dried tropical fruity (like papaya) notes; taste is unbalancedly syrupy sweet with the sam dried tropical)fruity notes as can be felt in the aroma - for sure not the best beer I've ever taste, but at least drinkable
