On tap at Pubologi, Stockholm, March 2012. Brownish with a small tan head. The aroma was sweet with chocolate, nuts and toffee. The same in the taste, also malt and some notes of "milk". Drinkable but not that interesting.

New keg. Clear ruby color, good creamy beige head. Caramel and berries in the nose, hints of barnyard. Medium-bodied. Caramel, hints of metal, wild strawberry, perhaps hints of toasted malts. Light vegetably, yeasty notes. Sweetish. Clean, but too safe.

(Draught at Kitty’s, 20120228) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was dense, long lasting, medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, molasses, low bitterness and mild roastedness. A tasty but dull beer.

Draught @ Kaisla, Helsinki
Pours dark reddish brown with a foamy white head. Aroma of slightly roasted malts, caramel, peanuts and chocolate. Taste is quite malty with caramel, chocolate and bready notes. Finish is slightly bitter and malty. Okay, quite basic but well balanced English style Brown ale.
