Bottle picked up somewhere in Toulouse, Thursday 27th November 2014. Pours murky reddy amber with an off white head. Good nose, clean, fruity with citrus evident. A dirty, rustic, citrus beer with a good malty undercurrent. A7 A3 T7 P3 Ov14. 3.4

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey and Refaela’s place. Thanks Vova. Cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, stale hops and marmalade. Sweet flavor, malty, caramelly, with candy-ish notes, fruits, stale hops, some bitterness and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris, lot 1102 bb May 2013
Cloudy amber color; compact medium sized head. Nice aroma of hops, some hop resins, followed by caramel and eventually some spicy yeast. The mouthfeel is semi-dry but smooth; there is some flavor of caramel, but also some yeast and very light vegetables; quite bold bitterness.
Imprecise; the idea is not bad, but as with many other French beers, there is some fermentation problem. Still quite pleasing.
