What started many years ago as a seasonal brew has become a FrogBeer cellar icon! By combining the pleasantly floral aroma of a mild Bobek hop with fresh root ginger, lemon and lime our brewers have created a truly unique beer, notable for its zingy aftertaste and drinkability! Crisp, clear golden amber in colour; fresh, fizzy and full of flavour; we are proud to say that there's no other beer that we've tasted (yet!) that's quite like our Ginger Twist.

Yup, there’s ginger in there, in fact so much of a sugary "twist" that it comes off like one of those Desperados you see the, uh, desperate types drinking in Paris. Very pop-like, too sweet, no head, give it a pass.

Draft in Bordeaux. A light golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and some ginger. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of ginger as well as hay, leading to a dry finish.

Cask at the F&B in Paris. Amber gold color with a creamy beige head. Smells like ginger. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is mild caramel with a largish dose of ginger. Bet this would be great with sushi! I love ginger.

Draught, 4.2% at the Frog and Princess. Good ginger aroma. Clear yellow colour. The flavour has a mild ginger note. It is detectable, but not very powerful. Apart from the ginger, it is a lot like a standard low-flavour lager.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with little white head. Aroma is ginger citric and biting yet also butterish, solid. Ginger and butterish flavoured. Not good. Ends with a fat butterish feel and flavour with citric ginger into the far finish.
