Draught @ 8th. BBF 2016 [ 8th Borefts Beer Festival 2016 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As De Molen Americano IPA ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, spicy, moderate hoppy, light citrus - grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, spicy, sweet malt, sweet hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160923] 6-3-7-3-12

Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent carbonation. Smooth malts, dry. Good Vermouth style bitterish herbs and spices, mixes very well with an orange marmalade hop. Floral finish leaves a bitter linger. I really liked this one, smart concept done well.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is vermouth, woody metallic hop. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth fruity, alcoholic cocktail palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

At BBF, hazy very deep orange color, spicy, herbal shrubby and some malt, fruity spicy and quite sweet with a mellow medium bitterness and some earthy notes. Nice

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Deep hazy orange, little white head. Nose is weird esoteric oil, herbal, pine resin, overly sweet with overly big esoteric oil. Taste is weird bitter esoteric oil, herbal, overly big on herbal oil, raw wort, orange & vegetable. Body is herbal strange oil. Very odd & not very pleasant. Wonder what they put in here & what the concept was.

van tap @Borefts 2016, helder caramel/amber zonder kraag. aroma en smaken van mout, gist, gras, stro, redelijk hopbitter, stro, matig zoet, redelijke co2, en veel tijm.
