Can from LCBO named Oatmeal Stout. Strong roasted accents, intense roasting on light notes of meat ensure a rather standard olfactory. Black and opaque with a medium foam collar and medium density that holds moderately well. The first taste impressions are creamy, rich, with a well feeled roasting, slight notes of caramel and oats in support. Its ample body supports notes of chocolate cake with little sugar. The sugars are present but discreet and easily blend into a silky and somewhat greasy texture. Medium complexity, this stout is quite acceptable. O:6.521 V:3.884 G:6.959 B:4.585 O:16.313 T:38.262

0,473 ml from a LCBO in Otttawa. Pours out black with a small fast fading head. Roasty and choco on the nose. Taste starts smoot, choco, some malt and more choco with a mid sweetness. Low hopy, some fruity sweetness in the second row. Okay.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a light brown head. Little lacing. Scents include caramel, molasses, toast and coffee. First swig had a slight watery mouthfeel but delicious flavour. Tastes of coffee, caramel and burnt toast. Finish is nice and burnt with coffee flavour lingering. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from the LCBO. Opaque dark brown with a one finger quickly fading dark brown head. Nose of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, light espresso, vanilla and a touch of licorice. Medium light bitter chocolate and coffee with a touch of brown sugar sweetness. Mouth is nice and creamy but still manages to feel a little thin, with soft carbonation and a bit of chalk in the finish.

Sampled at the 2014 Winterbrewed Craft Beer Festival on Valentines’ Day. Poured a dark brown colour with a beige head and thick patchy lacing. Mostly chocolate aromas with soft vanilla over the roasted malt and hints of coffee. Medium-bodied with some stickiness. Taste of coffee and roasted malts with a little sourness. An easy drinking stout.
