When it comes to pale 4% lagers the bar is pretty damn low. This pour very pale yellow, with a small white head. Now, this surprised me, I can smell hops! Good golly miss Molly! A pale lager that is aimed at the doors light drinker with some freaking hops. Nice and grassy, with some decent cereals. Crisp, and refreshing, this really blew me away. Well done!

Canned, from Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa Clear pale golden, small head. Grainy spicy nose. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Grainy and grassy, distinct bitter finish. Pilsnerish and well drinkable.

This light poured a cloudy medium yellow colour with a bright white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include corn, mild vinegar and club soda. First swig was a little thin and watery with light hoppy flavours and a little bitter finish. A little sour on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Poured a pale yellow color lager with a medium pure white foamy head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with some residual sugar notes is OK. Taste is a refreshing mix of light cereal with some residual sugar with no gross adjunct not really apparent. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well brewed for the style.

Pours a clean light golden colour with a thin soapy head disappearing fast enough but leaving a little lace. Pretty big aromas of grainy cereal malts. The taste has this malt, but some decent hops are well-blended with it. Nice mild bitterness and dryness. A pretty good light beer. Thanks Chris for all the great years !!

A blonde pilsner with a thin white head. In aroma, light biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, light chalky notes, OK. In mouth, a crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, nice and refreshing. On tap at Ogilvie location.
