Can from the LCBO. Hazy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is floral citrus, with some light pale malts, pretty basic for an APA. Mouth feel and carb are standard fare. Finish is lightly bitter, more citrus peel, and light crackers.

On tap at Big Rig, pours a clear golden with a small beige head. Aroma reveals plenty of piney hops, a bit of earthiness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is piney and earthy in the hop department, with a herbal—almost vegetal—character is there too that isn't so pleasant. Fairly dry, but the hop expression just isn't there.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy pale amber with a lingering one-finger white head that leaves some patchy lace. Nose is bread, light citrus and a prominent grass and herbal character. Light sweet malt under a medium citrus and grass bitterness. Mouth is medium- with slightly soft carbonation and relatively dry finish. Citra doesn't generate the usual juiciness here. 7/3+/6/3/13

Hazy golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm cap that is pretty big, lasts a long time and leaves creamy-bubbly lacing. Grassy nose with mild sourness over fresh hops all-around. Not as hoppy as an IPA, hence being an APA, but with the same nicely blended grassiness and cilantro notes. Very easy to drink and with a mildly dry mouthfeel. A Pale Ale bigger bitterness lingers. Very nice.

Keg at Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa. Hazy pale golden, mid sized creamy head. Distinct pink grapefruit aroma. Dry with light-medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Lychee and pink grapefruit. Resiny bitter finish. Very drinkable, perhaps on the resiny side.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, light mineral notes, rich. On tap at brewery.
