Can from the LCBO. Dark amber pour, with a large white head. Bready, toffee, Hops are grassy, musty grass, wet paper, minerals. Watery, thin mouth feel. Low bitterness, quite dry. Meh.

Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy light-beige head, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Aromas of caramel malts with some cereal notes and nice grassy-spicy hops. The caramel and cereal grains also show up lightly in the taste, but the hops take over a little. Decent dryness in the mouthfeel. Some floral notes and nutty hints. Pretty good refreshing and hoppy amber ale.

Keg at Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa. Clear amber, small head. Spicy nose with toast and some citrus. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Toast, mild spice. Mid bitter finish.

This amber ale poured a medium amber colour with a minimal, off white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include a little cooked veggies, honey and soda water. First swig was a little thin but nice tasting. Flavours of honey, sweet malts and a little bread. Finish was malty with that lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
