Bryggerin Sylvia jouluolut on punertavan ruskea tasapainoisen makuinen juhlapöydän ruokaolut, jonka pehmeä maltaisuus sopii perinteisten jouluruokien painikkeeksi. (Keg at OlutExpo 2016) The beer poured reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, caramel and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramel, plums, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. A tasty spiced brew.

Draught @Olutexpo 2016. Poured amber colored beer with a thin white head. Spices, wood, bread in aroma. Bready malty, some ash some spices in flavor. Dry finish. Light bodied.

Draught @ OlutExpo 2016. Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, caramel, spices and earthy notes. Taste is bready grainy, grassy and earthy with some hints of hay, spices and malts. Finish is bready grainy and grassy with some malts and hay. Decent.

A brown beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has strong breadyness, also some sour bread, that’s it, but nice. Taste has bread, herbs, almost vegetables. Almost medium bodied, quite smooth. Strong breadyness.
