Junaiten american pale ale er et velhumlet og lyst øl i typisk amerikansk stil. Ølet er pakket med aroma og smak av sitrusfrukter, balansert av en lett maltkropp. Humlerike øl som dette er på sitt beste når det er ferskt og bør helst oppbevares mørkt og kjølig. Upasteurisert og ufiltrert.

Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. A fine aroma with a good intensity. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, pine and mellow fruity flavor. Nice and refreshing ale.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma is refreshing fruity with citric fruit and grapefruit. Flavor is light malty with lots of refreshing fruit, both citric and some tropical, grapefruit dominating. Good bitterness for a session APA. Medium body and decent aftertaste. A very nice thirst quencher.

50cl bottle shared by Cunningham - thanks a lot!! Pours hazy golden with a modest, but lasting white head. Fruity, hoppy and mild malty aroma with tropical fruits and hints of grass and herbs. Moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Tasty and refreshing brew. Nice one!

Bottle, batch 6. Pours hazy golden, with a big creamy head setting at finger thickness. Aroma is hoppy, with light tropical notes of mango, oranges and citrus peel, foresty notes of spruce cones, as well as roasted malts with bread and toffee. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is sweet hops, with light tropical fruits, berries and foresty notes, as well roasted malts with bread and toffee. Bitter hoppy notes with pine, ferns and citrusy grapefruit notes follows, and lingers through the finish.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, wet leafs, wet hops, strawberry jam, minerals, grass, light malts, bark, hay, soil, hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly dry grassy, bark, weeds, old leafs, moss, paper, minerals, soil, light malts, hay, harsh hops, paper, hints of medicine. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy light amber with small white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, orange, pine needles, effervescent powder, some caramel. Taste bitter and fruity, but with a little sweetness in the finish.

From tap at Øst 02.06.16 with KT-people at IIV. Cloudy pale orange and dense and persistent white head and lacing. Superb aroma of peach, papaya, mango and pale malt. Similar taste, with dried papaya, dried apricot, succade and marmalade. Medium bitterness. Very tasty, with a low ABV.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger (also available there bottled, 4.7%). Golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, spicy / herbal and citrussy notes, hints of pine and spruce, Refreshing flavour, medium dry, notes of spruce tips, pine needles and grapefruit, medium bitterness. Very drinkable.

Fra fat på ØST, lanseringsdagen, sammen med Odd Gunnar: klar gyllen med fint skum som varer. Innsmigrende og myk aroma med sommerblomster og tropiske frukter. Ditto i smaken, som også gir meg grapefrukt og aprikoser i tillegg. Frisk og god med flott maltkropp og halvtørr avslutning.
