Shared 500 ml bottle, thanks to omhper. Deep brown colour, off-white to beige head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of caramel and brown bread. Malty flavour too, bready, like a Munich dunkel. Absolutely nothing Belgian or abbey-like with this one.

500 ml bottle. Unclear amber body with a medium sized, lacing tan head. Nice malty aroma with lots of dry fruit, quite impressive for such a low ABV beer. Flavor is sweet malt, toast, dry fruit, caramel and hint of wood. Moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Aroma was a bit more promising than the flavor seems to deliver, but not bad for a 4,7% beer in this more normally around 6% style.

Bottle. A lightly hazy dark chestnut colored beer with a dense light beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is lightly spiced, with roasted malts, some bonfire, woody hints, chocolate and some coffee. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Quite dry. Roasted, chocolate flavor with a faint spiced note and coffee. Cinnamon too. Lasting spiced, roasted finish. Not bad at all, but I have to be honest and say I prefer a regular strength dubbel. 160911
