Entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Nürnberger Whisky Club ‚The Most Venerable Order Of The Highland Circle’, dem Georg Rittmayer angehört. Nichts für Malzbiertrinker.

Bottle says you either love it or hate it. Wrong: I'm indifferent to it. Brewed just outside of Bamberg, it's definitely outside of that quality parameter as well. Peated smoke. One note. Souvenir from my trip.

Ambar nebulosa. Espuma abundante ocre pero poco duradera. Muy intenso aroma, fuertemente ahumado, barbacoa. En boca cuerpo moderado, escaso gas. Intenso sabor de base malta tostada, algo de café, eclipsado por el intenso sabor ahumado que lo envuelve todo. Bien hecha pero dificil.

Dark brown colour with medium white head.Aroma is heavy smoked and note of caramel and roasted malt flavour of sausages and bacon mild wood chips and dark fruit nice by style.

Naturtrüb, bernsteinfarben; gemischtporige mäßig stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase viel Torfrauch, malzig, kräutrige Noten. Im Geschmack ebenfalls viel Torfrauch, malzig, zunächst trocken - aber mit einer sich steigernden Süße ab der Mitte, deutliche Hopfenbittere, voller Körper.

Bottle at home. Aroma is big smoke, sweet malt, smoked bacon, peated malt, caramel. Flavour is rather sweet, on the sticky side. A little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Damn, one of the most heavily smoked beers I’ve had, this one means business. Unfortunately, the sweetness is rather potent as well.

Bottle @Beershoppe (Rome). Ambrata, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianco sporca media. Al naso note torbate, iodio, fumo di sigaretta, malto. In bocca conferma le sensazioni di torba, affumicato estremo, decisamente troppo. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Esagerata.
