Bottle from the lcbo online store. Bottle GUSHED and I lost about 2/3 of the bottle. Once the explosion was cleaned up, and my glass was 1/4 full it was a cloudy yellow, with a HUGE white head. Aroma is loaded with great funky notes, and malted wheat and funky, lemony grasses. Crisp and clean mouth feel, perfect carb. Peppery and funky, light barnyard aroma. Medium bitterness, prickly and peppery, grassy.... Just an incredible example of the style. I wish I actually had a full bottle.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy bright yellow pour, big puffy white head. Aroma is bright farm funk with lots of lemon rind. Taste is sharp lemon with funky edges and a crisp bitter finish. Metallic? Or maybe just the suggestion from stainless steel barrel. Palate is light with soft medium carbonation. Some emptiness on finish too, disappears quickly. A bit sharp for my taste but interesting I guess. Wouldn’t get again.

Tap at Troubles End. My first Oxbow beer..maybe. rather light and pleasant on the palate, big lemon lime tones. Brett is there but isnt brutal at all, which is always nice. Layers of complexities that come together well. Soft carbonation. Sort of eaten up, not sugary or thick. Really well done, quite different and superior to most US Saison, and better than most Belgians too. Cool beer.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, some sweat socks, rustic saison yeast and wild notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast, earthy notes, and some mustiness. Musty and rustic. It's solid but perhaps a little past its best by date.
