Medium, dense white head over faintly veiled orange-golden beer. Sourish nose, rhubarb, raw celeri, bit of toast; whiff of benzene, gassy. Quite sour, again rhubarb, buttermilk, lactic acid, citrus acids, unripe fruit. Faint background sourness in the finish. Bit dusty, too. Spritzy, well-carbonated. Seems wheat-slick, light body. Nice. But one needs divination to guess the cassis; 7/4/7/3/14

Sample at SBWF 2017. Light pink with a small head. A bit sour with black currant, funk and some bread. The body was light. Soft and easy to drink.

Sampled @ RBBSG 2017. Unclear orange-pink color, small white head. Nice black currant light sour and light fruity aroma. Flavor is the same: black currant I guess, really nice soft fruity and soft sourish flavors. I quite like this one.

At LIBF, thanks to the Belgian Ratebeer crew for sharing. Thin off-white head, very loose and as good as completely gone in the end, hazy coppery orange robe. Aroma of pomegranate, sugared grapefruit, cassis though not too outspoken considering the fruit has effectively been used here, caramel, gooseberry, strawberry wine, soap, buttermilk. Sweet and sour fruitiness in the onset, hints of pineapple, blood orange and indeed some blackcurrant but again much more in the background than one would expect, bit sticky residual sugariness, softish carbo, slick and bit thin mouthfeel, blackcurrant lemonade effect coming a bit more to the foreground in the end, sourish citrus flesh aspect in the finish, bit astringent. Lacks body and complexity for what it pretends to be, not my favorite from this brewery.

330 ml. bottle sampled (twice because I am an idiot) @ LIBF 2017. Thank you for sharing RB-InBev Belgian crew! Pale pink black currant juice appearance. Nose is dull, soap, bland, bit metallic, very vague sour fruit, weak, vague vinegar. Dull metallic taste, empty, bit watery, vague low vinegar fruit, empty, some sugar, lemon. Empty, bit metallic, watery body. Weak.
