Bottle 0.65l, trade with Mr.Orla, enormous thanks, Martin! Seven years aged! Black, opaque. AROMA- pleasant alcohol, liquor, roasted malts, caramel, coffee, nuts, nougat. FLAVOR- silky, moderately sweet, lightly bitter, warming, coffee, liquor, nougat, dark chocolate, chocolate cake with nuts and liquor. Fuller bodied. Really good.

Tap @ Mig og Ølsnedkeren, Aarhus. Pours pitch black with just about no head. Not CCB trademark head lol. Aromas of bready malt, licorice, light burned wood, dark fruits, bitter chocolate. Taste is sweet, burned wood, dark fruits, ash, sweet english licorice, peppery coffee, bready malt.

Aroma has licorice and bourbon. Flavour has licorice, some alcohol, soy sauce and mild coffee tones. Perhaps a bit straightforward and simple for the style but still works as a slow sipper.

650ml bottle @ Ruoholahti Beer Festival. Roasty, earthy and slightly stuffy with some coffee, licorice, hints of dark chocolate and oatmeal. A bit unbalanced and boozy.

Bottle from Beergium. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, some whisky and dark fruit. The same in the taste, also licorice. Smooth and nicely drinkable. Not that heavy.

Bomber. Brune foncée, col crémeux café au lait, dorée au verre. Arôme rappelant un bon bol de céréales, effluves de grains - surtout avoine bien présent, effet de concassés, café grillé avec petite note de réglisse en rétro. Amertume modéré arrive en rétro-nasal et accompagne un agréable effet de moka-café. Palais est malté, caramel, effet grains-avoine bien présent, fini sur léger côté grillé avec note de café. Épaisseur de bouche se marque bien, réglisse aussi présente et accompagne bien le caractère du café. Certaine douceur résiduelle arrive sur la fin.

Bottle from Beergium. Almost black beer with small, quickly vanishing dark brown head. Aroma has sweet malts, roast, smoke, coffee. Taste has sweet malts, coffee, roast, some smoke. Sweet sugarish feeling. Full body, strong and intensive beer.
