24/IX/16 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared @ Borefts Bier Festival - BB: VIII/2017 (2016-1117) Thanks to Paul for the trade!

Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: hoppy start, pretty resinous, sweet, caramel malts, dank touch. Aftertaste: bitter, some citrus, tropical fruits, mango, alcohol, slightly sourish.

Perfect foamy head on top of carbonated foggy gold.Aroma has a few layers, being hops and some detergent sourness, barn funk, not all sweetness which is unique, though the aroma remains rather subdued. I find the hops profile to be not as enticing as it could be, a little muddled, not sharp enough. Of course I’ll still drink this bottle, it’s damned good, but still a few miles from Epic as they say down in the ’hood.

Bottle from Cotteridge, Birmingham, Friday 19th June 2015 consumed at home Sunday 21st June (Summer Solstice) Warm gold in colour with a filmy white head, slight haze otherwise pretty good clarity. A tropical edge to the nose, also tropical tasting with a little pineapple and mango in the mouth, not overly tropical mind, a jolly good beer but easily bettered in my opinion. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Bottle shared at Bruce’s place. Clear golden / yellow coloured pour with s lasting frothy white head. Aroma is big onion hop, citrus, pine needles. Flavour is composed of nice biscuity light caramel malts with substantial piney hop, little onion, citrus. Palate is semi sticky, nice dry finish, highish carbonation. Pretty fresh, good stuff.
