Dark chocolate, orange, rich. Pours very dark and silky. For some reason feels nowhere near the 10.1%, and isn’t overly sweet. Good stuff.

Tasting @Henry & Sally's (Oslo). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma ecrù medio-leggera. Al naso note di cioccolato, arancia candita, frutta secca, liquore, marzapane. In bocca è dolce, cioccolatosa, leggermente speziata, un po' stucchevole. Corpo pieno, carbonazione soft. Non un granché.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen 12/11/2023 got to get this every year, once again lots of sweet dark chocolate interlaced with that terrys chocolate orange goodness, citrus rinds, full body, sweet chocolate orange laced dark sweet and roasted malty finish. 330ml bottle. Pours black with a small tan head, some sediment floating around. Aroma of chocolate, orange. Taste of rich chocolate, orange oil, vanilla, lots more orange in the finish, alcohol is pretty well hidden. Full bodied, smooth.

Bottle 33 cl. 11,5% ABV i my version. Thick and syrupy pour - as always. Opaque black with a small and creamy brown head. Vanilla and orange dominates the nose where you find surprisingly little roastiness. Rich, sweet, syrupy body with little carbonation. Flavors are a little messy with tart and sweet colliding and only some late roast adding a little bitterness. Challenging beer. 090223

Bottle picked up at Systembolaget Hansa (Malmö) and drunk at home (28/12/2022) - black with a tanned ringed head. Sweet dark malty with rich sweet chocolate, some cocoa nibs and vanilla accents, getting some orange zest but allot more restrained compared to the 2020 version the other night, full body, vanilla and light orange zesty infused chocolate malty close.
