Bottle 2020.Red, dark brown, low head. Nice wood and roast, dark chocolate, medium full, sticky chocolate, toffee, coffee, sweet, perhaps dried out a bit, soy, chocolate fondant finish.

Bottle. Black color with hardly any head. Aroma is soy sauce, orange, chocolate. Taste is orange, chocolate, sweet, also umami. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Solid, but quite intense.

Bottle at Ratebeer tasting at Daves, Unterhaching, München, Friday 4th February 2022. Pours black with a slim filmy head, some Bovril on the nose, nice roasty bitter and orangey combination, good, nice tart tangy edge after Jonas's wonderful muffins.

Darkest brown. Aroma is dark chocolate cocoa lacto melasses licorice. Taste is dense marmite melasses cocoa chocolate. Really oily and dense. Bam!

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. An oily dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is big oily orange, orange oil, chocolate, some hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky orange, tangy, thick chocolate syrup , chocolate fudge cake, rich orange and chocolate. Palate is medium sweet, oily, lowish carbonation, intense stuff

Bottle (2020 edition). Pitch black, tiny coffee coloured head, nonlasting. Chocolate, strong cocoa aroma, slight orange, but mostly cocoa. Medium sweetness, chocolate, cocoa, slight hazelnut and a bit of bitterness.Some alcohol, not too much. Fuller, silky. Chocolate delight.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 19/12/21. Deep black with a good sized tan covering that settles to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, sweet malts, candied orange peel, light spice, marshmallow, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, spice, brown sugars, hint of Cointreau, cacao nibs, toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent enough pastry affair ... balance is good in that it doesn't run too sweet but not one I'd revisit given the quality in the market these days.
