This beer is deep amber in colour and has a strong malt aroma with caramel and fruitiness with hints of dark, dried fruit. The taste itself is complex and multi layered with deep nut and dark caramel malt flavours. It is quite sweet and as a big, strong beer you will sense some complex alcohol notes.
The base hops are English in origin so grassy, spicy, floral notes prevail but we dry hop, at a low level, with american hops to get more citrus on the front end.

Abv 10.5%.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, nutty brown with a roughish, off-white head. Sweet, nutty, toffeeish aroma. Rich, fat caramelly body, biscuity, sweet but not cloyingly so. Warming alcohol finish with enough hops for balance. 190622

29/8/2020. Bottle courtesy of Nissee666 and shared at the Wroclaw GP bottle share. Pours clear copper amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of golden syrup, toffee, dried fruits, sweet malts. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Sweet warming finish. Enjoyable.

Rate från backlog @ÖÖWF2019. Rödbrun vätska med tunt skum. Doft med lite sötma av smörkola, ton av banan, lätt träig. Rund och mjuk smak. Bra maltkropp med en aning fruktkaka.

Flaska från Systembolaget:
Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med ett litet skum. Doft av farin, målarfärg och sprit. Söt smak av farin, russin och mörk sirap. Finishen är lite väl spritig.
Helt ok nu, men blir nog bättre med tiden.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Slightly hazy mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with brandy and madeira. Sweet with full body and rounded, viscous mouthfeel. Warming soft bready malt, dates and madeira. Warming finish. Rich and mellow.
