75cl bottle no year mentioned anywhere as far as I can see. 6%
opened with a giant shaken champaigne like BANG but no beer spilled out so well done.
tons of brett in the aroma, also some hay, very dry and non-sweet, very balanced. crisp. flavor is grassy with notes of hay and a lot of brett dryness and yeastiness. quite refreshing and a strong bretty flavor for a 6%er. far from as sweet as most biere de garde, and imho much better. perhaps a bit onesided bitter yeasty but otherwise a fine saison.

12.7 oz corked and caged green bottle from Smokes and Suds. Pours slightly hazy golden with a giant soapy head that sticks around. Aroma has notes of skunk, lemon, wood, sulphur. Taste is lightly sweet with a hint of hop bitterness around the edges. Highly carbonated champagne-like mouthfeel.

Pake gold pour white head. Kind of a weird spicy hoppy bit on top of malt and herbal notes. Ok.

Tap at Hopa, thanks to the BPBW crew for this one. Yellow pour, white head. Nose is estery, malty, low fruits. Taste is low sweetness, spicy touch, estery finish. Light, dry body, lively carbonation.

Bottle from boutip. Thanks! Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Aroma is funk, wet hay, wet grass, and funky hops and wheat. Quite acicid with some subtle citrus notes along with light tropical fruit. Slightly watery mouthfeel, with a low carb. Finish is funky, slightly tart with some nice citrusy hops and yeasty esters. A very nice saison.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is peppery Saison yeast, hay, some floral and herbal notes, grass, citrus. Flavour is relatively bitter with a very dry finale. Body is medium. Classy Saison, dry, peppery and a bit floral.

375ml corked and caged green bottle. Pours a hazy orange yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, fluffy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick curtains of lace. Aroma of grainy spelt, hay, Belgian yeast, grass and spicy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, peach, orange, Belgian yeast and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very enjoyable.
