Our Porter is a black experience, but there is no reason for fear. The roasted malts contribute with coffee and chocolate flavours. This makes this beer quite food friendly. Try it with barbecue, or even better, with desserts like chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream or fresh berries. The gajeta Falkuša brought hope and fortune to the island of Vis. Prvo viško pivo brings you unpasteurized and unfiltered Ale of the finest quality.

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, three finger frothy beige head, long lasting. A bit overcarbonated bottle, therefore the huge head. Anyways, thick lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, notes of chocolate and coffee, cocoa and raisins. Subtly roasted. Somewhat thin body, medium at best. Medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel, texture does have a bit of creaminess to it. Roasty bittersweet taste with subtle fruity tart. Aroma is quite nice, strong chocolate and coffee notes, cocoa powder, caramel. Raisins and dried plum. Roasted malts, ashy. Slightly liquory towards the finish. Finishes bitter and with a bit of an alcohol burn on the tongue. Overall, pretty good porter. Solid in taste and aroma, lacking in body a bit - pretty tasty nonetheless. Nice one.

(bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a brown and tall foamy head. Moderately roasted malty aroma with notes of chocolate, fudge, liquorice and subtle vinous fruity accents. Roasty bitter and mildly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Earthy roasted malt character with notes of dark chocolate, bread crusts, caramel and liquorice; moderately roasted malty finish with a mildly fruity tartness. Good. 29.XII.17

Flaška: Literally black with a stable tanned to brown head; moderate sourish-fruity nose with a distinctive toasty background, shy traces of vanilla underneath; moderate sourish-sweet flavour with a delicate bitterness, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering smooth sourish-roasty finish. An unexpected goody...
