Our Porter is a black experience, but there is no reason for fear. The roasted malts contribute with coffee and chocolate flavours. This makes this beer quite food friendly. Try it with barbecue, or even better, with desserts like chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream or fresh berries. The gajeta Falkuša brought hope and fortune to the island of Vis. Prvo viško pivo brings you unpasteurized and unfiltered Ale of the finest quality.

A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured almost black body with a small brown head. Chocolate and cocoa aroma, with sweeter cooked and dried fruits. Flavor was lightly bitter, roasted, with smooth coffee and cocoa popping out, then licorice, touch of wood, dried fruits and proper dark chocolate. Full body with a long creamy cocoa finish. No traces of alcohol, just contributed to the body. Exactly as I like it, as an Imperial porter. Not overly complex but extremely tasty. Top world class! I’ve heard only the best about these beers, but didn’t expect them to be THAT good. Many similar brews of the current big names in craft brewing would be shamed by this one.

0.33 l bottle at Craft Room stand, Zrinjevac, Zagreb. Completely black, rich creamy tan to light brown head. Caramel and toffee nose, then fruity, dry fruits.Extremely thick and creamy texture. Medium body. Coffee, wood, roasty aroma with lasting dry finish. Seriously dry aftertaste. Quite drinkable for a 7% and such a thick texture. Very good and exactly for my taste.

Bottle @ Tolkien’s House, Zagreb. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of roast and malt, with touches of coffee. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of hops and yeast and touches of malt and coffee. Roasty aftertaste. Decent. Very decent.

Thanks Nebojša! 0.33l bottle like the others. Pitch black body, small, somewhat lasting tan, brownish head. Pungent aroma, dark malts, propolis and chocolate over some caramel. Quality dark ale really, starts of a bit inconspicuously, a touch of dark malts, vague, light yeasty touch, vague, very vague tart touch (not infection of any sotrts), before dissolving into an absolutely fantastic finish blending heavy roast and dark chocolate that envelops everything and coats the tongue staying there forever. Very, very good porter.
