Brewed with 20% by volume, grade B, extra dark, maple syrup, and then laid to rest in vanilla bourbon barrels for two years. We then treated this syrup/beer with 30 lbs of Argyle Coffee Roasters, Brazilian Fazenda Do Salto coffee beans

Pours black, no real head. Smell is chocolate, milder maple, almost a spicy, peppery side. Taste is very full, mild coffee, maple turning very intense, with a 'mariage parfait' including vanilla towards the aftertaste. The aftertaste is an amazing experience that reminds one mostly of a long-wood aged version of a Pedro Ximenez by the likes of Toro Albala. Oh damn… this is a real homerun boy !
