Om tap at Borefts 2025. Black beer lasting tan head. Dark chocolate and somw coffee on aroma. More dark chocolate in the mouth. Some spirit character. Irish whiskey apparently. Its big bold its got lots of dark chocolate dark malts and a slightly booze overtone. Well that's Borefts then . A fitting end and tribute to a beer festival that has meant so much to me.

Tap @MBCC 2025, Green Session. Black, beige head. Roasted, jammy aroma. Sweet roasted and jammy flavour, some roasted bitterness.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of soft whiskey, washed out malt notes, and bread crusts. Flavour has a rather thin bready malt base, upon which the whiskey acts. Not much complexity, more abrasiveness from the whiskey, and all without the malts to back. Not great.

On tap at MBCC 2025, green session. Pours black with a beige head. Gentle malts on the nose. Flavour has roasted bread, crusts, barrel finish. Not bad.
