Despite his bitterness, lack of power and insuperable aversion to any over-the-counter labor - he kind of has a charming charisma, and perhaps he is even loveable. Somehow we find him unbelievable irresistible and stimulating because he is one of the few that masters the ability to effortlessly impress with wide-ranging conversation even though he was not even supposed to be here today.

Really kind of disappointed in this one. Definitely not up to evil twin standards. Aroma is super loud barely noticeable. Appearance is good with lots of lace and a off-white semi long lasting head. Body is a touch thin which affects the flavor. Flavor is hoppy wet grain a little fruity, and a bitter finish. Really nothing too special.

Keg at the craft beer Co Islington. A golden coloured pour with a lasting frorhy white head. Aroma is semi sweet sticky chewy toffee, pine, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet chewy caramel, and pine,. Not bad. Palate is semi sweet, chewy, frothy airy carbonation. Not bad. Bit old school.

Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Fine hoppy touch. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. A bit unbalanced sweetness. Oily texture. Grapefruit hoppy, dried fruits, malty and some pine in the flavor.

Vom Fass Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-02 getrunken. Hier hat der böse Mikkeller-Zwilling ein solides Imperial IPA gebraut. Hier wenig Frucht aber der Hopfen ist eher moderat. Daher sag ich mal - "Paßt!"

Odd IPA, odd in some of the flavors it pulls from its massive Simcoe presence, yet not an altogether pleasant beer to drink. A distinct white grape juice sweetness lurks in the foreground, but mostly you get the usual Simcoe attributes, earthy with hints of dank and cat pee and berries-n-citrus, all around a cereal grain sweetness and a unexpectedly spiky texture, a bit warm for a 7.5% beer. Absolutely gorgeous--not sure how Evil Twin gets the lacing they do in their beer--but lacking overall. Worth a try for the grape thing.

Keg at Craft Brixton. It pours clear pale gold with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is fairly restrained, grapefruit, lemonade, quite clean and white bread. The taste is dry, cleaning, pale malt base, bread, green hop, grassy, straw, grapefruit, sweet lemon and a kick of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Was hoping it would pop a bit more. Okay.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London. A light golden coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, lemon aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, lemon, grapefruit and some tropical fruit in there too, quite thin and bitter. Not my kind of IPA but it is perfectly OK.
