330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 4/27/2021. Slight gusher upon opening. Pours slightly hazy ruby red/pinkish/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge juicy/lightly tart raspberries, cherry, peach, pineapple, lemon, orange, melon, pear, red grape, apple, light caramel, toasted bread, hay, straw, pepper, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, raspberries, citrus/tropical hops, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy/lightly tart raspberries, cherry, peach, pineapple, lemon, orange, melon, pear, red grape, apple, light caramel, toasted bread, hay, straw, pepper, light musty funk, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light yeast spiciness, fruit tartness, and herbal bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of raspberry, cherry, peach, pineapple, lemon, orange, melon, pear, red grape, apple, toasted bread, hay, straw, pepper, light musty funk, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, raspberries, citrus/tropical hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tart/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness and carbonation; increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome fruited Brett saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, raspberries, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the balanced tart/acidic/spicy finish. Not as much funk as I expected, but the Brett complexity is very well rounded; with awesome balance of all other flavor components. A really delicious offering.
