2/5/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours mid-dark brown with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma is smoked, meaty, malty, chocolate. Moderate sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Not my favoured style but this was quite drinkable.

Can. Almost opaque beer, good pale tan head. Nose is a pleasant mix of cocoa and citric hops. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly thin dark malts but a nice earthy cocoa tone. Well integrated citrus, some peel. A light bitterness throughout. Light dry finish. Nice job. Interesting and well thought out and tasty too boot.
