Nephew did believe that in the past this was brewed somewhere else specifically for them. I was told that the name referred to its color and not it having honey in it. Clear red amber with no head. Nose is massive sugary caramel & sugar, very cheap & very sweet toffee, candy, butterscotch, artificial. Taste is pure slab of cheap toffee & butterscotch sweetness, caramel, bread, oily, artificial & candy sweet. Big artificial sweet of huge toffee & butterscotch sweetness. Sweetness saves it a bit for me even it is far too artificial & basic since I like candy-like beers.
