Bottle. Clear reddish amber body with a big, dense off-white head. Aroma is light malty with some caramel, light smoke and some dry fruit. Flavor is smooth, a bit mild malty, caramel, dry fruit and some smoke. Fine balanced body and all over pretty balanced with no particular outstanding flavors. A nice and pleasant one.

Bottle. Amber color. Aroma of smoke, caramel, herbs and malt. Taste has smoke, caramelised malt, herbs, licorice and some ham. More smokey than peaty, but it's nice.

Bottle, 8%. Hazy dark amber/brown with medium beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, dark fruit, oak and a little peat. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, dark fruit, sweet, oak, hops, little peat, chocolate and medium bitter.

Aus der Flasche 2017-04 getrunken. Rauch? Torf? Nein nicht hier! Hier bin ich doch recht froh da ich mit Bieren dieses Stils normalerweise nicht so viel anfangen kann. Was hier jedoch bleibt ein dunkles, schwer gemaltzes Bier im schottischen WeeHeavy Stil. Diese Themaverfehlung ist doch überraschend Lecker!

BOTTLE 37,5 CL. Clear dark ruby, some floaties, beige head. The aroma is mostly fruity lollipops, maybe a slightest hint of earth, but no peat or smoke. Similar taste - rich fruity caramel, some brandy/spirit notes, robust dry herbal and slightly boozy bitterness. Again, no peat - more like a malty ESB on steroids, not a bad one though.

Sampeled at Meug 2017. Thnx for sharing ! Pours dark brown. clear. Small white head. Smell is mild plastic. Roasted malts. Taste is full, sharp, bit bitter. No real peat, but a very lovely beer nevertheless.
