Bottle at home. Deep ruby colored, almost brown, with weird looking light reddish brown head. Massive cherry jam, marzipan, bitter almonds, very sugary, some sour fruits, cooked raspberries, bitter leaves, Amaretto, vanilla cake. Very sweet, under medium bitter and light sour. Almost full bodied. Bit weird and very sweet but not as bad as I expected.

Donkerrood bier met schuim. Smaak is fruitig, kersen en ietwat friszuur, een erg goed fruitbier zoals er niet veel zijn. Diepe volle smaak.

Swietne piwo kawaskowo slodkie. Niczym lambick kriek. Wytrawna i mocna koncowka. Aromat owocowy czeresnie i wisnie. Piekna barwa bardzo czerwono bordowa, metna z drobinkami osadu czy resztek wisni. Piana spora trwala i rozowym zabarwieniu. Piwo smaczne owocowe mocno wisniowe. Kwaskowe i rozgrzewajace. Taka owocowosc miedzy Sour Wild Ale a Kriekiem. Do twardego dojrzewajacego sera w sam raz. Pours dark amber with a small pink head. Aroma has notes of acetone, vinegar, cherry, almond and vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and medium sour with a long sweet cherry, sour, vanilla and vinegar finish. Body is full, texture is oiiy, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A ruby red almost clear one topped by a pinkish finger-thick head. The aroma has copious amounts of acetone and fake almond, with some cherries in the back. It’s sweet, yet acidic sour on the palate, with some lemon notes, smooth carbonation and lots of cherries on booze, almond and white sugar. Luckily the flavor is better than the aroma. Lasting fake cherry and marzipan finish. Well, sort of drinkable, but one bottle would be enough for four persons in my opinion. 151212

Ruby with pink head. Always nice! Aroma cherry flavored candy, cooked cherries, some chemical glueyness, probably the yeast. Taste intense sweet and very full mouthed cherries. Body is nice and thick and oily. Carbo is fizzy but spikey in combo with the fairly high abv. Pretty nice stuff for sweet fruit beer. I would have enjoyed a sour kick though. EDIT: Funny, half a glass later the finish turns sour and it’s actually not improving the experience. It’s too sugary too enjoy the sourness.

Bottle. A- Cherry pie filling. A- Dark brown reddish color, dark liquid, brownish pink head. T- Cherries, cherry syrup, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, fruity finish. O- Very good. Smells just like canned cherry pie filling. The taste is pretty well in line with that too. Not artificial or medicinal tasting. Could use a tad bit of tartness or a hint of sourness but overall it’s quite fine.

On tap at #Belgiek - Beffa Bar. Brownish red with medium off-white head. Cherry jam aroma, cherry liquor. Sour cherry aroma, like those fruits that lay in the cherry brandy. Like you wanted make brandy, but stopped at 7.7%

Bottle. Pours a cloudy deep purple red with a white/pink head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines tart cherries with pie cherries and a has a hint of a syrup note. Flavor is much more of a syrupy cherry note with a good amount of sweetness and a growing tartness through the finish.
