(375ml bottle from the webshop c/o Herbalist, thanks!) Pours lightly hazed orange-gold with a decent white head and spotty lace. Aroma of punchy fresh apricot, nectarine, lemon, strawberry, a little tart orange flesh, thyme and other fresh herbs, salty minerals, soft funk, oak backbone. Flavour is nicely tart with a grip of apricot, tart underripe strawberry and lemon flesh, a little orange/grapefruit overlay, nice slightly spicy oak, thyme, a little floral edge with the herbs, berry pip and oaky tannin, subtle nicely integrated wild yeast notes, cereals are retiring and it's not lager crisp but that's no issue. Tart apricot and berry finish, light herb and oak vibes lingering, smooth. Medium bodied, smooth filling bottle conditioned carb. Lovely little afternoon joint, this; may as well be a wild ale as a lager and the adjuncts sing with well-balanced fruity acidity and herbal freshness.

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Stone fruit and and light barrel. Soured stone fruit and light thyme. Nice.
