Bottle from Battlefield 1403, Shrewsbury. Golden-amber with a very mild haze and very little head. Not too bitter, with some fruitiness involved too, so edges towards an English Pale ale in styling. The biscuity malts, although light are pleasant as well.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly fruity, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

500ml bottle; BB 22nd Oct 2020. Drank at home on 25th Jan 2020. Deep golden amber body, clean and clear, poor white head. Didn't take to this, seemed unbalanced and disjointed somehow. The blend just didn't work for me, malty but thin, hoppy yet weak and half-hearted. Strange really.
