Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Odi. Cloudy yellow. Brett, a bit soapy, oak, minerals, some fruitiness, quite dry, light sourness, bitterish note.

Lovely aroma of white wine, light citrus, sweets and oak. Taste is maybe less exciting, but still good. Light tartness, lots of fruitiness, gooseberry, guava maybe. Can't really find the yuzu anymore. Pleasant saison creaminess. Good stuff! If a little expensive at 1250 yen for an underpoured 250ml

21/X/17 - 25cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 10/I/17 (2017-1802) Thanks to Bierridder_S for the trade!
Slightly cloudy blond to light orange beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very funky, fruity notes, bit sourish, yuzu, saison yeast. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty bitter start, dry, little fruity, yeast touch, grapefruit bitterness, bit floral. Aftertaste: very bitter, citrus notes, bit yeasty, bit funky indeed, sourish touch, floral, tannins, bone dry finish. Decent stuff!

Bottle, served in my KBC snifter it has an aroma of a ramped up Zenith Zest where Brettanomyces came heavily into play adding some barnyard and a certain sharpness to the aroma of wheat, peppery saison, sweet tarts, sansho and yuzu. Medium to full bodied but with a rounder and softer mouthfeel than the Zenith Zest. It has a bit of tang, barnyard, hay, brett, sweet tarts and just hints of sansho but the barrel seems to have overwhelmed the yuzu. To accentuate the yuzu, I guess it should be barrel-aged on yuzu slices. Different and yet still refreshing. For me I prefer the Nue’s smoothness and rounder softer sweeter flavor profile over the brasher more aggressive assault of the Zenith Zest. Both are fine beers, give them a shot if you can.

Deep golden color. Lovely nose with great chard barrel character, below that a very dry nose with the sansho and Yuzu playing nicely in the background. Belgian yeast is fairly pronounced. I am really grooving on this nose. The mouth is a bit heavier than I would like but lots of funk with the Yuzu and sansho more subtle than the nose. Lingering Chardonnay, oak funky yeast and Yuzu finish. Not the best mouth feel but I do like this

Tap at KBC. Deep, hazy orange with lace. Nose of yuzu, stone fruit, Chardonnay. Bretty flavor, horse blanket, nice fruit, wine, apricots, prickly and peppery finish. Soft and oily, full body. Interesting.
