Pours rather unclear yellow, small white head if poured with a bit of an effort, but it fades rather fast. Smell is very intense, bit fruity (the yuzu gives a lemon-like zesty fruityness ) as well as some silky white wine character. gives a sweet indication. Taste is rather sharp. mostly yuzu ! Very fruity, very distant barrel character. No real malty taste, they are overruled by the yuzu. very mild bitter touch, no hoppy aroma though. No yeast either. A bit unbalanced to me, but drinkable.

Draft glass @ Brussels Beer Project. Hazy golden, creamy white. Nice awesome delicious Chardonnay all funky, lacto, white oak, lemon peel. Taste is basic great Chardonnay barrrel, white barrel, very tasty, white wine, zest, maybe low lacto? Body is more Chardonnay so juicy, lemon, zest,.... Did they add lacto or brett or something in there? This feels far more than BA. So much better than the base beer, wine is just great here. Bit simple but if this was a big name USA saison people would go wild.

Draft - Light herbal and oaky wood notes. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Nice barrrel and bitter light herbal notes. No yuzu but great barrel.

Draft @ BBP. Dorée-orangée sur léger voilé, col crémeux beige. Arôme aux effluves indiquant e suite l’usage de vin blanc - Chardonnay avec des pointes rappelant un peu le brett. Pointe de funk, boisé quand même présent avec de fines notes d’agrumes de yuzu. Palais est axé sur la barrique qui par moment l’emporte un peu, effervescence est moyenne voire haute, retrouve un caractère de fuité raisin blanc, et un ajout de yuzu qui si au départ est caché en partie par le Chardonnay tend à se bonifier au fil de la dégustation. L’impression de brett persiste, et je note un côté fruité abricot qui complété les autres fruits. Au final, je préfère la version de base, ici, le Chardonnay enlève un peu de l’originalité. Reste très correcte.
