[33cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head and moderate carbonation; yeasty farmhouse aroma; taste of sour grains and cider apples; and a tart refreshing finish. A pretty good saison.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Waitrose. Pours clear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Nicely rounded overall, with soft lemony tang, crispy wheat, light bitter straw, grain husk, a hint of alcohol and citrus rind. Light to medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Lightly warming finish, very slightly funky, with a little grassy bitterness, more straw, dried wheat, sourdough, lemon rind. Sound.
