Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is malty, malty sweetness. Taste is mild bitter, very malty background, sharp, in a way, yet mellow as a whole. Easy drinkable, not too much carbo, very agreeable body. Very clean, in a way, but in the back - ude to the corny maltyness - it becomes quite unique and intense. Very nice !

Commissioned beer from Jandrain-Jandrenouille with medium thick, snow white, lacing, more or less stable head and almost clear golden blonde colour with slight peachy hue and vivid fizz. Sweetish, spicy aroma of cinnamon, coriander, dried banana, peach, honey, white bread, earthy turnip, pineapple, chicken spices, grass and a bit of DMS (cooked cabbage). Crisp, restrainedly fruity but otherwise rather neutral onset, less sweet than expected based on the aroma, with fizzy carbo; further development stays on the neutral side too, a bit grainy, vaguely sweetish, thinnish and supple body, with some mildly bittering grassy hops in the finish, a tad yeastiness and some of the retronasal cinnamon and coriander aromas, but again less strongly so than expected. Pretty straightforward, simple Belgian blonde with some sweet spices, nothing overly ambitious, but decent enough. Thanks Sabine and Dorian for sharing this!
